Welcome to my e-portfolio! I am Daniel, and I transferred to Old Dominion University after my associate degree at Tidewater Community College. I am a Navy veteran, and I work full-time as a network specialist. Much of my interest in cybersecurity is driven by my daily work and the desire to learn more than I already know. I like to learn about how computer systems operate, how to secure them, and how to address actual problems impacting users and organizations. I learn best by doing, so I value labs, hands-on practice, and real situations that let me apply what I study. I am originally from a country of French speaking, and being able to speak both French and English is another strength I bring, since it helps me connect with different people and gives me a wider point of view. I am currently in my last semester, and I am focusing on graduating and getting ready for the next chapter in my career.
