My personal narrative explains how I found my direction in cybersecurity through school, work, and personal growth. Coming from a French-speaking country made college in the United States difficult at first, but the experience taught me patience and persistence. While attending Tidewater community College I developed interest in areas such as computer networks, systems, and problem-solving. Once I transferred to Old Dominion University I started linking what I was doing in class to my potential future career. My current job and internship have shown me how my every day technical tasks are security responsibilities. This path taught me to keep learning, stay careful, and earn trust over time.
