Hello my name is Arielle Sapinoso, and I am an Old Dominion University freshman student. I am majoring in Dental Hygiene and minoring in Psychology, as well as Health and Wellness; My intention is to be able to help those other than myself. I feel as though psychology could assist with my major, as I am dealing with other patients, and getting to understand and get to know my patients could help. I found an interest in psychology, because it goes in depth on the thought process and ways a person acts or feels. The reason why I am taking this course, is to help me understand why people act the way they do, whether it is a social sense or when they are on their own. Throughout the next few years at ODU, my academic goal is to stay on track with my school work; not to miss any due dates by turning in assignments on time, and to strive for excellent grades. With my career, I wish to create strong connections with those who are in the same major or minor as myself, as well as anyone I meet along the journey.
