About Me

Hello all,

My name is D’Onna Coleman. I am a student at Old Dominion University, studying psychology and Spanish. After undergrad, I plan to continue my education to the Doctorate level to further study the effects of epigenetics on the psyche of African American women.

Since I was young I knew for certain I had at least two passions. The first passion I discovered was science, my favorite is obviously psychology. The second was Spanish – the language, various cultures, and history – all of it fascinated me. My love for languages has expanded beyond Spanish and I will continue to learn new languages. Combining the two passions into my future and career has expanded my mind in more ways than I can recall. Exploring these interests has allowed me to become more open to opportunities I have not considered before.
