Hello everyone,

This is my first ePortfolio and I want to establish some goals that I have for it. First on the top of my list of goals is ensuring that it is tailored for my intended audience. I am a Cybersecurity major at ODU. I want to highlight my work completed within my majors requirement courses. Showcase my strong hard skills I have developed throughout my college education as well as some of the soft skills I have improved on. While forming my ePortfolio I found myself getting stuck over the small details. How I should imbed my work into pages and how much of my work should be included. I found it easiest to embed links that lead to my course work so that it does not become overwhelming to the reader. Making the page look less cluttered more organized and easy to follow. Once I was able to get past the difficulties of layouts and embedded links the rest of it came to me with ease. The embedding of my professional headshots, about me page and resume were all easy to complete.

With the creation of my ePortfolio I feel my professional online presence has heightened. This has created a on stop shop for employers to get to know who I am. What experience I have in the field of cybersecurity, my skillsets and current work that I have completed that backs up my resume. During this stage in my ePortfolio project my question is how do I continue to build onto my portfolio but still make it centred around my major of cybersecurity. Can I take this course (Comm 101R) and circle it back to my foundation.
