Hello everyone,

This is my first ePortfolio and since the making of my professional portfolio, my professional appearance has certainly grown. I was able to tailor for my portfolio for its intended audience. I am a Cybersecurity major at ODU. I wanted to highlight my work completed within my majors requirement courses. Showcase my strong hard skills I have developed throughout my college education as well as some of the soft skills I have improved on. My strongest part of my portfolio is my course work from my cybersecurity courses it strengthens my professional view as a cyber specialist. Once I was able to get past the difficulties of layouts and embedded links the rest of it came to me with ease. The embedding of my professional headshots, about me page and resume were all easy to complete. The hardest part is adding other courses to my portfolio and still keeping it entered around my major.

For future students I would advice them to find a way to not overwhelm your intended audience in your portfolio. Every course has made the portfolio mandatory and you must add the work from their courses. Try to always circle it back to your major, that way your portfolio is major focused. I certainly know I will use public speaking in my major when it comes to giving presentations on cybersecurity trainings within a company or even job interview preparation.
