As you go through my portfolio you’ll find the beginning discussions and reflections of SPAN 101. I grew up trying to understand and speak Spanish as I come from a Mexican and Cuban background. Refreshing my memory and learning Spanish is going to help me with understanding my family outside of school. However, it also connects to my major, Criminal Justice, with those who might struggle with english knowing how diverse the United States is. I want to become fluent in Spanish not only for myself but to help others as well.
