A specific vulnerability in DNA analysis software that some researchers have been discovering included the severity and immense strength of the DNA sequence. It has become very clear that data and technology is growing and going to continue to grow immensely and at a very efficient rate. Now previously it was known that DNA sequences were always seen as safe but that is now no longer the case. Since the software was of no good intent it was then able to lead to a major buffer overload which soon allowed for the data to be infected and tampered with.

With these new risks coming at them researchers then began to recommend virtual machines and containers in hopes to help with the new current issue they were now presented with. These machines and containers act as a block from allowing anything in that could potentially damage any information. Having this isolation allows for minimal damage to ever occur and ensures no data goes in or out.

Treating biological data as untrusted input not only brings many alarms to others but also brings much concern. It has been clear that many have seen hacking and attacks on more technological wavelengths but now this brings in a new set of knowledge needed in order to cover the biological factors as well. This also brings much concern because who knows what this could mean for any future attacks, harm, crimes…etc. Now that DNA can become digital and could also affect real data it brings many new potential harms within the future that people may see and need to prepare against.
