The Ramjee group is broadly interested in the interfacial area of nanomaterials, supramolecular chemistry and organic synthesis. Our research involves synthesis of nano and organic materials, towards applications in nanomedicine, sensing and catalysis among others. For a number of chemical and biological applications the surface characteristics of metallic, metal oxide and polymeric nanoparticles need to be modified by appropriate ligand engineering.
