I used to think of my class assignments as isolated before starting to work on my ePortfolio. Reflecting now, I have gained many skills such as technical skills, analytical thinking, and writing skills. My Linux lab, ethical hacking project, and internship allowed me to practice cybersecurity tasks, such as setting up a firewall, inspecting network requests, and installing a home lab. My ethics, policy, and interdisciplinary papers challenged me to consider social, privacy, fairness and trust perspectives. My writing assignments helped me communicate security problems more effectively. The artifacts I reflect on in this paper demonstrate the type of professional I am becoming: one with technical skills, good judgement, and higher purpose.
