Dean’s List, Old Dominion University (Fall 2023 to Present)

I have been selected for Old Dominion University’s Dean’s List each semester since fall 2023. Old Dominion awards this honor to undergraduate students who have achieved a certain level of academic excellence during a semester. I have been selected because I have maintained a consistent standard of effort. Rather than simply completing assignments, I have made an effort to completely grasp the material, even when it is challenging.

This experience has been beneficial to my career in application security as it demonstrates the value of consistent and disciplined academics. Security analysts must continually adapt to new technologies, tools and threats. By earning the Dean’s List every semester, I have demonstrated the ability to maintain this level of performance over time. I have achieved this while pursuing technical coursework in computer forensics, networking, and programming, participating in student organizations, and completing internships. These experiences have also demonstrated my ability to manage competing demands which are present on a daily basis within a security operation.

I am proud of this achievement because it highlights the behaviors that contribute to my success rather than a specific outcome. Please feel free to continue viewing my resume and other materials to learn about my application of this knowledge.
