IDS 493 focuses on the development of a professional electronic portfolio. A portfolio is not merely an archive of past achievements, but instead an integration of competencies, experiences and outcomes that communicate strengths and abilities. Students will select and exhibit their most effective work, document their achievements, articulate their relevance to the workplace, and reflect upon their learning during the development process. The resulting portfolio will serve as a professional resource that can be used to advance one’s career past the end of the course.
