Cybersecurity Internship

Internship Introduction

During my internship at Brooks Crossing Lab, I had the opportunity to organize and participate in two additional field trips, which enriched my understanding of the lab’s operations and community engagement. A substantial portion of my time was dedicated to learning about various machines and actively promoting Brooks Crossing’s iLab and open makerspace. One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was working with 3D printers, where I created an articulated shark and lobster. These projects presented challenges, such as ensuring accurate model setups to prevent misprints, which I successfully overcame by adjusting settings and adding necessary supports. Additionally, I designed promotional items like canvas bags and pencil cases, incorporating original artwork and perfecting image sizes to meet quality standards. The positive response from my peers, who requested similar items, was particularly gratifying. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented individuals and to develop my creative and technical skills through diverse and engaging projects.
