This course will explore essential parts of interdisciplinary research that are distinctive in six (6) respects.

  • Describes how to do interdisciplinary research using processes and techniques in the applied fields.
  • Integrates and applies the body of theory that informs the field into the discussion of the interdisciplinary research process.
  • A decision-making process that makes integration and the goal of producing understandable and achievable. 
  • The foundational and complementary role of the disciplines in interdisciplinary work.
  • The book includes numerous examples of interdisciplinary work.
  • This book suits active learning, problem-based pedagogical approaches, and other traditional strategies

An Interdisciplinary Understanding of the Human Factor of Cybersecurity

This research paper proposes an alternative understanding of the human factor of cybersecurity. Through the utilization of the disciplines of Psychology, Sociology, and Cybersecurity, a new potential solution for the topic can be uncovered. This paper was difficult for me to get through, due to the multiple fields I had to integrate equally for a new conclusion. However, by the end, I left with a new methodology for how I approach cybersecurity and a new perspective on the human factor of cybersecurity.
