About Me

Hello! My name is Edmund Reisser and I am a Senior at Old Dominion University. I am a Cyber Security major and hope to graduate in the Spring of 2025. It is my goal to graduate and put my cybersecurity skills to use in a governmental or military role.

I chose Cyber Security as a major to further explore and understand both computers and the individuals who use them on the day to day basis. I have always been curious about how computers work, whether it be their properties or just how they function in general. The human side of the computer is something that I had not really considered to be important up until I started my studies as a student at Old Dominion University. As I have progressed through my courses I have developed a newfound understanding that the computers we know today are not simply just machines, but they are complex and have multifaceted layers and that the general side to them is just a drop in the metaphorical bucket.
