How does cyber technology impact interactions between offenders and victims? With the popularity increasing for the internet usage, the connection and interaction between offenders and victims can become more and more frequent because of the internet. In cases such as bullying, the offender can reach the victim much easier compared to back before the internet, due to the fact that the offender can find them on social media or online and general and harass them from behind the screen, not worrying about the consequences. This makes it much easier for the offender to harass and bully the victim, and makes the consequences seem insignificant. And since this opens many new ways for offenders to harass victims, many of those who would never say anything in person can now go and be anonymous online. The more involvement people have and can do online creates the higher chance to become an easy target for a hacker or offender. As much as technology is increasing in this new age, and more and more people gain access, the chance that people become in the relationship of offender and victim rise exponentially. These types of Cybercriminals can go to any limits, there are no boundaries for them, and due to that people need to have the knowledge to prevent the individuals from falling into the cycle and becoming a victim. The cycle will not be able to be broken unless more stringent laws are put into place to combat the cyber bullying epidemic that is afflicting the populace. In conclusion, there are many malicious people on the internet with their reasons to commit intentional or unintentional harm. Cybercrimes are so easy to commit and do as well as hard for an arrest to take place because the crime can be coming from different parts of the world, or even right next door.
