Cybersecurity is a type of applied science, so the different principles of science will already apply. Cybersecurity is considered a subset of Computer Science, although it is its own definite field of study. The principles that other sciences must abide by, so too must Cybersecurity, for example the relativism, skepticism, determinism, ethical neutrality, objectivity, parsimony principles. Because Cybersecurity is such a new field of study, more thought will have to go into how these different principles will affect the field itself.
