- In this assignment we were asked to review two scientific journal articles and determine which one was a primary article and which one was a review article.
2) In this assignment we were tasked with using Pubmed to locate a genetics-related, primary article in a peer-reviewed journal and create a citation for the selected article.
3) In this assignment I used PubMed again to locate a genetics-related, primary article in a peer-reviewed journal and write a summary. I also created a Nature Style citation for the article .
4) In this assignment had to find a genetics-related article from a news source and write a summary of that article. My summary included supporting information from a scientific review article to support whether I thought the news article was accurate.
5) In this assignment, I created a personal statement with the intention of applying to a graduate program in the future
6) In this assignment, I used open source genomic sequencing databases to answer questions about particular gene sequences, and to better understand the hierarchy of some of the collaborative organizations that exists in the field of genetics.
