This summer, my team and I are hosting a virtual internship program at my Washington, D.C., and district offices! Internships with my team are paid and provide students and recent graduates with valuable work experience, a deeper understanding of the legislative process, and insight into what it takes to make a Congressional office run. This week, my team opened the internship application for opportunities at my Washington, D.C., and district offices. Interns will accomplish a wide variety of tasks, including answering phones, researching legislation, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent messages on issues impacting our community.
The summer internship opportunity through my Washington, D.C. office requires a 25 hours per week time commitment and runs from June 1, 2021, to August 13, 2021, and internships through my district office requires a 20 hours per week time commitment and run from June 1, 2021, to August 20, 2021. My team is searching for hardworking individuals who are passionate about serving their communities.
