I recently received this message:

On behalf of Congresswoman Elaine Luria, we would like to invite your students to apply for our Fall Internship Program. District Office interns have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of constituent casework and district outreach on the congressional level. Interns’ responsibilities vary and may include answering phones, attending events with the Congresswoman, assisting with casework, and researching outreach opportunities. District Office internships run throughout the academic year and over the summer for college students and recent graduates. Candidates with strong district ties are preferred.

Internships include a financial stipend and are in our Virginia Beach Office located in the Virginia Beach Town Center area. Fall 2022 internships are in-person. Internships are 20 hours a week and will run September 12th– November 18th. The District Application closes on August 26th, 2022.

Applications are due by 11:59 PM on Friday, August 26th, 2022. Applicants must submit the following documents and answer the following questions within their application:

  • Cover letter (PDF)
  • Resume (PDF)
