In November (2019), I presented at the MMLA Conference in Chicago, IL, my work on Victorian Gothic novels, “‘Never in the Same Form Twice’: Reexamining the Governess Trope in J. Sheridan Le Fanu’s Uncle Silas: A Tale of Bertram High and Henry James’s The Turn of the Screw.”

I’m happy to share that presentation with you in a mobile-friendly form; I do ask that if you’d like to use this information for further ideas/research, please cite.
