The core classes that I observed during my time at Hugo Owens Middle School were both in the Social Studies or history department. Mr. Munden made arrangements for me to visit Mrs. Siler’s class and Assistant Principal Wecht offered me the opportunity to observe Mrs. Corbett’s classroom. Both of these teachers offered very engaging lessons and showed me how different it was to manage a classroom setting verses gym setting.
