Safety: With the help of remote work and technology, we can now be employed from home, we have entire security systems that can protect a house or building, and can quickly call for help if we need to thanks to cell phones.

Love & Belonging: Technology enables us to communicate over vast distances via cell phones, or computers. We can be on one side of the Earth, and still be able to contact family on the other side.

Esteem: A good example of this would be social media; you can post your accomplishments, or hopes and goals, and people will support, and like the post.

Self-Actualization: All of this can come together, and support you while you reach your goals. These days, not only can you not ignore technology on your way to your goals, you have to actively figure out how to incorporate it in your goals.
