Read this https://dojmt.gov/wp-content/uploads/Glasswasherparts.com_.pdf sample breach letter “SAMPLE DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION” and describe how two different economics theories and two different social sciences theories relate to the letter.
The first economic theory I’m recognizing from this is Rational Choice. The sample recognizes there was a breach, and to the best of their ability, they’re breaking down what happened, what to do about it, and they’re being honest with the consumers about it.
The second economic theory I recognize is Laissez-fare economic theory. In this case, because of the breach, the government is stepping in in the form of law enforcement to assist the company in the sample deal with this breach, and to protect it’s customers, who are citizens under the federal government.
One social theory I would argue goes hand in hand with an economic theory, that being rational choice. Again the sample letter makes the smart move of identifying the breach, breaking it down, informing people, and working to a solution.
The second social theory I would argue it utilizes is Interactionism. They’re attempting to lay the fears of the public (customers) to rest by explaining the situation to them, discussing what it means, and outlining how they intend to fix it. By interacting openly, and honestly with costumers, they reduce the lose in faith in their ability.
