The Modality principle is good for explaining and communicating a point with more than just text on a screen, and images. By utilizing vocal input, and voice, you can help more auditory learners absorb information, and it makes the task of learning less monotonous. For my portfolio, I wanted to remix my vocal journals following my progress this semester. I would have it split into different sections for each class with key talking points, and images for each class (not class notes, or finished work) to explain what we’re doing, the information I’ve been able to digest, and what I expect going forward. This way I can communicate my growth overtime on my portfolio, and I can repeat this next semester as well.
