How to you think media influences our understanding of Cybersecurity?

I think it’s a common problem in media, especially TV where they blow cybersecurity and computer related things out of proportions. Normally its a very calm process, alot of technical work and know-how, but in media they made it flashy, they make it intense and important because that’s what sells! I remember from one show in the mid to late 2000’s called NCIS where they made an intrusion prevention look super epic and high-tension!!!! I know it’s a high pressure, high tension situation but not to the extent shown on media.
