Ways that computers have made the world safer is by giving communication options usually not available unless otherwise in person. Communication is the main way people get information across for new things such as supplies, important information or just social interaction. It allows us to stay in touch with important people and allows relationships to stay alive. Without being able to communicate with other foreign countries and make peace we might have entered another war but unlike years ago we are able to make treaties with countries a lot faster than we were originally able to because not every treaty needs to be in person, and some can be done virtually now. Information traveling through computers now can also prevent accidents before they happen by giving you updates on current situations so that you may avoid it or prepare for many to come. It also provides people a way to cope with problems that may be going through since some people have mental illnesses and need human interaction in order to move on. It also provides a way to learn about different cultures before visiting a new area unknown to you. By learning of a culture before visiting it you would be able to better understand what may be dangerous to do in the area. Different cultures have different ways of sensing danger and if you don’t understand it you could be caught up inside of it. There are also ways though that computers have made us less safe. Everything that we do online is recorded and we leave digital footprints on whatever we may do on the internet so that it can be traced back to us. Hackers can use information we put on the internet to access assets and steal them also. As far as communication it can become harder for people who communicate on online to speak to people in person making so that like the social communication features to associate to people in real life.
