Hello, my name is Jayden Teasley.

I am a college sophomore, attending Old Dominion University. I switched my major from accounting to cybersecurity as I have found interest in working with technology and on computers.

Early Life

I was born in Petersburg, VA but grew up in Chester, VA. I currently live with my mother, father and brother who is 7 years younger than me. When I was young, I had a crazy interest in sports especially basketball. I’ve been playing basketball since the age of 4 and I still play currently. Although I’m not playing for any teams or organizations currently, my goal is to play for some type of organization soon. As of hobbies, I like to be adventurous. I love traveling and going places that I haven’t explored yet. I do play video games but unlike most students, it’s not something that I do every day. Other than those things, I like to hang out with others, listen to music, and spend time with my family.

Career Goals

My main goal is to live up to my family’s reputation. My family is well known in their respective counties not only for their athletic success but for their career success and I really want to do is to live up to my family’s name. My goal is to graduate college with a high GPA and a bachelor’s degree, and I want to obtain a high profile or federal job in the cybersecurity department.
