My Foundation in IT

Reflection:

I chose the MSP company I worked for four years ago because that is where I really learned about and explored different avenues in the tech field outside of the classroom. During my time there, I grew not only as a worker but also in my technical knowledge. Working with different clients and handling a variety of technical issues allowed me to figure out what I enjoyed doing and what did not interest me, which helped me find my niche in IT.

The job was definitely fast-paced and a lot of work, but it taught me how to adapt, troubleshoot problems, communicate with different types of people, and work effectively under pressure. I would not be where I am today in the tech field without that experience. It gave me a strong foundation in IT and helped prepare me for my future goals in cybersecurity by giving me real-world experience that I can continue to build on throughout my career.
