I NEED SOME MOTIVATION

Lately, everything has been soo mush, to be more exact my classes have been very mush. Like the mush that they give toddlers who have no teeth, no consistency, barely any flavor and just mushy. I’m not failing any of my classes, I’m doing quite well but I have even found it more difficult to pay attention in my classes and I keep watching the clock waiting for the 50 mins to be over. I’m starting to think that I have lost my motivation to learn at this point, but I refuse to fail any exams or quizzes, so I force myself to study even though it is completely dreadful. I begin to wonder why I feel this way, my mind seems to go over million scenarios as to what my future would entail if maybe I switched my major to something that provided an easier work load, or less dedication. I’m pretty sure I have a severe case of the spring blues, this always happens to me at this time during the semester. I feel like college should only have a fall semester, and spring should be optional (for those that really want to finish in four).  Anyways I have found some ways to cope with my desire to chill rather than do work:

  1. Plan out your schedule ahead of time and complete your work early.
    1. I find it more helpful when I complete work days before its physical due date, it gives me time to relax and sleep.
  2. Reward yourself before, during, and after your study periods
    1. Take breaks while studying and pace yourself.
  3. Never try to cram 50 millions things into one day, you will definitely feel over whelmed

How do you cope with life when you feel unmotivated? What do you think is the best way to handle the ‘Spring Blues’?
