Crimes committed are punished by the law. The problem with the cyber world is that it’s a space where one can stay anonymous. Additionally, responsible people often get away before they are caught. Cybercriminals have different reasons for doing what they do online. They did something unique, and thus, they can be prideful about their achievements. Most of the time, criminals does not think of the consequence committed to the person. They only think about their accomplishments or the monetary value that hackers can gain. However, their achievements matter to other people. By hacking a government or a large group, they gain a sense of pridefulness and are deemed suitable by the hacking community. Eventually, they like to show off. Their actions will prove if they are worthy of joining a hacking group or something. Either way, their activities are their responsibility.

The government interferes in any suspicious activities online. The government interferent is to protect the public. To prevent events like 911, they are on the lookout on the deep web for suspicious activities. They track their last IP address to catch criminals to determine their geolocation. Although hackers may mask it, the government has invested a lot of money to have good technology to track criminals on the run.
