Review the NICE Workforce Framework. Are there certain areas that you would want to focus your career on? Explain which areas would appeal the most to you and which would appeal the least.

After reviewing the NICE Workforce Framework website I would say the areas I’d be most focused on would be design and development (DD), and protection and defense (PD). Design and development appeals to me the most because it involves designing, maintaining, and testing systems to make sure they are accurate. Overall this area interests me the most because it mostly consists of creating and analyzing software to keep it secure. Likewise, the protection and defense area also appeals to me because it is essentially the basis of what cybersecurity wants to achieve. The area that appealed to me the least was the investigation (IN) area. Reason being because I’ve never really known myself to be that great at investigating, so I wouldn’t want that to be the main focus on my career. I wouldn’t say that I’m the worst at investigating, but I would say that based on the work roles associated with this area, I am less appealed to this specific area as opposed to other areas.
