Instructions
Exploring Culture
The textbook really helped me in learning my Spanish by making me write a lot in the textbook and making me have to read in only Spanish helped me a lot. I learned a lot about different Hispanic cultures in Spanish 101 but I don’t think I really learned about the culture of the different countries, I only learned how to speak the language.
I think this class is primarily about learning Spanish as a language but not learning the culture of Spanish speaking countries because there wasn’t enough time to do that.
Engaging in Communities
It is very important to engage your communities because they need all the help they can get so any bit of support you can give to your community is very appreciated by them.
I’ve never participated in any of my communities projects or events. I’m just a very anti social person and prefer to support in other ways, mostly finically.
Interpersonal Communication
We did a lot of video projects and assignments that required us to retain information in Spanish and write it down based on our memory. We also had to do a project where we had to talk to someone in Spanish and I chose to do it with a native Spanish speaker so I learned more.
I think I should’ve talked with more native Spanish speakers but other than that I think I did good.
Presentational Speaking
We never did a presentation other than the video projects but that doesn’t really count because we were all at home and didn’t do it in class.
Interpretive Listening
There was assignments in the text book that would make us listen for Spanish words then write what we thought it was.
