Assignment Takeaway #1
The assignment takeaway was an excellent way to understand and engage with the different Heuristics. After doing the assignment, it clicked how these four heuristics are so common in our everyday lives. And affect every single aspect of our lives.
I never thought I would ever have a heuristic that I could relate to, like Availability Heuristic, which is guessing without proper knowledge. Which I feel I do, but I think it just comes from a place of anxiousness.
Another heuristic that is very prevalent in life, especially in the past few years, would have to be representatives’ heuristics which is just placing and making a judgment without being certain. It made me think of people of color who have been wrongfully convicted because of their skin. And or have died just because of the color of their skin. This assignment has been an excellent way to tie each heuristic with worldly connections.

I decided to go with this image because, it really ties in with what I wrote as my summary.

Assignment Takeaway #3
After taking the Style of Love quiz it was quite interesting and different for me. I never had a quiz test me and give me a chance to evaluate my relationships in my life. It really opened my eyes and made me want to see why I think and behave that way in relationships.
For questions 1-7 I was able to calculate a score of 1.6. I wasn’t too surprised but after finding out the score for a female is 2.3. I realized that I was low in that category of Love, but I am someone who doesn’t display much emotion and feeling. But overall the score was pretty accurate.
For the storage sub scales is evaluating relationships with the combination of friendships. Which focuses on attraction and emotion. The normal score for females is a 2.5 I scored pretty ok with a 2.0.
I believe this quiz would be an amazing way to test a significant other to see how each other are. I do think a quiz of this magnitude should be done in the beginning of a relationship.

Assignment Takeaway #4
I wondered how I would be able to complete this assignment because I’m not really around others as much, but it came pretty easy. The first thing I realized I did was on social media. A friend of mine had a GoFundMe page that she just wanted to be shared, so I posted it, and she appreciated I took the time to do that. Another thing was I pumped gas into my mother’s car so she wouldn’t need to stop for gas before work.
The third thing I was able to do was cook dinner for my family; they were excited! As well as sending my brother money for school. Lastly, I held the door for people in my building.
