Hola! My name is Owen Mewhirter. I’m 20 years old (coming up on 21 on March 28th) and this is my 2nd semester at ODU Online. To be completely honest, I’m taking Spanish because it is one of the required classes for my Marketing major at ODU. Although maybe in the future it could help out in marketing endeavors. Who knows?

My main hobby is streaming video games on Twitch. This gives me a good opportunity to talk to tons of people online and sort of “market myself”. I’ve organized many special events within small communities on Discord and Twitch that have been growing in size over the past years.

I decided to do online classes at ODU since it just seems to click with me more than in person. I started with J Sargeant Reynolds Community College for 2 years before graduating from that and transferring to ODU.
