Four of our PaCK lab members (Kassandra, Paige, Edoardo and Dr. Rodriguez) attended the 2024 Southeastern Psychological Association Conference in Orlando, Florida!
Undergraduate research assistant Kassandra De Jesus presented a poster titled “Parental Emotional Regulation in Relation to Perceived Child’s Internalizing/Externalizing.”

Graduate student researcher Paige Munshell presented a poster titled “Mother-Infant Interactions: Observed Behavior in Relation to Child Abuse Risk” and an oral paper presentation titled “Predicting Mother-Child Interaction: Building a Bridge from Pregnancy to Toddlerhood.” Her presentations focused on her work regarding the mother-child relationship and naturalistic data collection.

Graduate student researcher Edoardo Modanesi presented two posters: “Exploring changes in substance use during batterer intervention programs” and “Differences between countries in IPV and childhood abuse overlap.” He also presented the following oral papers: “Reflective functioning, emotion regulation, and the cycle of violence” and “Examining risk factors for physical versus psychological interpersonal violence.“
