My Kind Mom
The kindest person I know is my mom. She is always there for me and she truly loves me. Whenever I need help with homework or doing something else, she is always there for me. Whenever I get scared, she’s there to comfort me. She has been both a mom and dad to me since she is the one who takes care of me. My dad was being mean to her and going out with other women while she was taking care of me and my sister. Then he left her and she was left to take care of us, but she did it and we’ve been just fine without him. She takes us to fun places and we sometimes go to paint at a paint shop in Norfolk. She is the most wonderful mother I could ever have. I am very lucky to have her as my mom.
Reflection
This was piece I wrote back in middle school when I was tasked to about the kindest person I knew for a summer program. The piece had to 10 sentences long and had to explain my the person I chose was the kindest I knew. This piece is very simple in nature and even mad my mom cry when she read it. If I were to improve upon this piece I would have made it longer with multiple paragraphs explain why my mom was the kindest person I know. I would have gone into depth about each aspect of her being kind and proved explains of her kinds towards me. I would have also cut out the unnecessary sentences that were repetitive in their meaning and were just their for young me to get to the 10 sentence mark.
