Being an online undergraduate teaching assistant, I was not actively present around the students. Unlike an in-person class, I was not able to interact with the students as much. This was definitely one of my weaknesses, I was not able to be as much of a helpful force in the student’s academics. In order to  combat this weakness, if I am an online TA again, I will find ways to connect with the students. I may try to reach out for study sessions or make a discussion board for students to ask me questions. A teacher that actively makes an effort in their student’s learning experience is by far the most effective. 

I believe one of my strengths is that I have taken this class with Professor Judah before so I understand how his classes typically go. I already received a good grade in the class before so this helped me understand what to expect. Also, I was able to effectively manage time to grade assignments in a timely manner. 

All in all, I would definitely love to be a TA again, it is such a fulfilling experience. I would want to be a TA in an in person class, so I can more appropriately help the students. In my experiences, I always utilized the study sessions held by the TAs and it definitely helped my grades. I wish to have that influence on future students. Being a TA allows you to develop other skills as well such as leadership and time management. It is such an amazing opportunity for personal growth and I cannot wait to continue using these skills.
