For this course, I completed a capstone project, which was a ten-step assignment that was completed throughout the semester, consisting of individual and group assignments. The project was to conduct a cybersecurity audit of a pre-identified publicly traded biological sciences firm. Starting from the vantage point of a professional cybersecurity consulting company, my team and I conducted research on the company’s business, determined cybersecurity threats, and developed mitigation approaches specific to the firm. The project ended in the development of a 16-page executive briefing and board presentation, enabling me to translate theoretical knowledge into an actual consulting setting and enhance my research, analysis, and business communication capabilities.
