An Effective Reflection Is
- I was originally in another professor’s class and I felt it was in my best interest to seek out another professor. I reached out to my previous Spanish professor and she assists me with my current professor he was kind enough to let me in his class and I’m very thankful.
- The Spanish 102 class has been very challenging at times. I have a hard time with pronunciation and also writing. Luckily the professor offered a conversation session to practice how to speak Spanish and learn some of the material that we were working on.
- Also, reaching out to the professor individually with any concerns or issues I had and he was very helpful.
- Entervista I reviewed and studied and also made a script to go over and practice with my partner to get a better understanding of how to pronounce my words correctly.
- The professor gave guidance when having conversations broke words down so I could understand what he was asking me. I was super nervous everytime I had the entervista but he did not make me feel like I was doing it wrong he was very encouraging.

Exploring Culture
The resources that were provided were very helpful the different videos and practice on the VHL helped a lot. I felt it took some time to complete some of the assignments but it was good practice.
Reflection
This course will help long term because the Human Services field working with culturally diverse communities and clients and speaking Spanish would be beneficial.
Engaging in Communities
Listening to Spanish music is a great way to have a better understanding it promotes your listening skills.
Interpersonal Communication
The talkaboard was new to me I never experience that before but I can say my partner was very nice and also helpful as well the conversation flowed smooth I had some moments I was confused about what she asked she gave me assistance to better understand.
