Interpretive Listening

In the Spanish 102 semester I listen to a variety of Spanish speaking people from the coursework. This included recordings for the coursework, using Talk Abroad to speak with native Spanish speakers in Latin America, and watching the international Spanish news with English subtitles.

In the recording I speak with someone from Latin America and the speaker was very clear in his language and it was easy to do, he was also very friendly and helpful. My biggest challenge while listening is getting caught up on one or two words that I am either confused on or do not know. I also find difficulty in speaking back sometimes because I am caught up on a word or two, but this is getting better and I believe that I am on my way to speaking Spanish well.
