Interpretive Reading

Throughout the semester of Spanish 102, I read quite a lot of Spanish articles and stories. These included passages in the coursework on the Canvas and Lingro Learning websites. With Lingro Learning I also used search engines to look up information about certain countries in Spanish.

I find reading to be the easiest to understand as I learn Spanish, as I can take my time to fully understand what is being communicated. I also enjoy reading as it gives insights into the language that are easier to understand, for me, than being taught. I still do this with English, as I read more, I understand more about sentence structure, and how to properly convey my points when speaking or writing. The more I read Spanish the more I become at ease when speaking Spanish. One of the biggest challenges I have with learning Spanish is getting nervous when I speak it.
