My name is Scott Worm. I’m a junior college student attending Old Dominion University to earn my bachelor’s degree. I study mainly computer science, writing, video game development, and chemistry. The majors that I’m going to be working on in college are computer science and cybersecurity. Studying cybersecurity has allowed me to understand my purpose in college. My interest in studying how computers can be defended has led me to become interested in pursuing a degree in cybersecurity. My objective is to get my bachelor’s degree while having a major in cybersecurity to get a high-paying job in defending computers from outside threats.

As I study and gain more knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, I begin to understand the professional fundamentals of how important each mechanic is to defend a computer and its network. Studying all of these fundamentals in college prepares me to become a professional cyber security defender to land a job in a high-ranking job like the National Security Agency.
