Hello! I’m Sotiris, a cybersecurity major with a passion for safeguarding digital environments. My journey into the world of cybersecurity began with a personal experience—when I stopped someone from hacking my dad’s computer through a TeamViewer scam. That moment opened my eyes to the many threats that exist online and inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to protecting individuals and organizations from similar dangers.

I specialize in network security, and my interest in technology started at an early age when I began building computers and setting up home servers. These hands-on experiences laid the foundation for my passion for problem-solving and securing systems.

Currently, I am working towards obtaining the full suite of CompTIA certifications to further solidify my expertise. I already hold a Google IT Support Professional Certificate, a Google UX Design Professional Certificate, and Google Cloud Skills Boost, which have broadened my understanding of both the technical and user-centered aspects of cybersecurity.

My long-term goal is to contribute to the cybersecurity community by raising awareness of the countless threats that exist today. I believe that through education and vigilance, we can all play a part in creating a safer online world.
