Overall, my experience was very informational, and I feel as though I have a better idea of where I want to work in terms of a type of company. NASA was the main company that stood out to me, and I liked how they didn’t require any specific level of skills or experience from their interns. The average workday for a NASA intern would mainly revolve around shadowing and helping with projects and learning as the project goes along. I also took interest in NWIC Atlantic, I got to have a deeper conversation about IT and cybersecurity. At first the person at the table asked me what the most important part of cyber security was, and I responded and said the money. We both laughed and he went on to explain that its more so about the impact, but we both still agreed that the money was still important.
