This selection will certainly be played during the trunk-or-treat event… its sound captures the eerie lost South Faulkner writes about, and performed by a mysterious artist who would probably fit in in Morrison’s cast of characters.

This is my own Southern Seeing project which, I think, will inspire similar type efforts of seeing the South through a new lens, even a literary one.

A personal favorite, and in my opinion a song that represents the pathos of the American South, perhaps to be played softly during breaks or as meetings begin.

This blurring of Faulkner and Morrison I can picture being used on promotional materials or even in my own presentation on this project.

Another personal favorite, which to me evokes the sort of playful yet thoughtful approach the project will take on as a whole.
