Social media has changed the way I experience sports, giving fans a look into athletes’ lives beyond the game. That’s what I aim to do with my social media persona—show who I am, not just as an athlete but as someone who loves to laugh, compete, and share the journey. By mixing humor with my passion for women’s basketball and football, I hope to entertain and inspire others while showing the fun side of being an athlete.

Women’s basketball, football, and sports humor are a big part of who I am. Growing up watching the WNBA sparked my love for the game, and playing basketball has been a huge part of my life. But it’s not always serious. There are plenty of funny, relatable moments that I want to share. That’s why humor plays a big role in my posts. I want people to see that athletes aren’t just competitors; we know how to have fun too.For this project, I’m also adding basketball pictures to my blog to give a closer look at my journey on and off the court.

I’m all about showing the real side of being an athlete, and that includes behind the scenes moments. Whether it’s a silly locker room moment or team bonding activity, I want people to see the laughs, hard work, and challenges that come with it. It’s not just about highlights; it’s about sharing the full experience.

For me, this isn’t just about building a following; it’s about building a community. I want to connect with people who love sports, who enjoy the fun side of competition, and who appreciate real, relatable content. If my posts can make someone laugh, feel inspired, or relate to the ups and downs of being an athlete, then I’m doing something right. (All photos/videos from my Instagram and TikTok)
