It was a pleasure speaking with Rasheda Alexander and learning about the career of a phlebotomist. With having a CNA, nursing, and phlebotomy certificate she is well diverse in these studies. I asked her what she likes most about her job and her response was drawing blood which I was shocked at that reply, but we did have a laugh about it. What I really found interesting was not only in this career but all health science it seems like the importance of connecting with your patients is a common thing in health science. I realized that when she said the most challenging part about her job was not seeing her patients due to relapse or death.
