My intended major is dental hygiene. I chose this major because of the people that positively influenced me. My aunt being the first influential person for me because she was a pediatric dentist. Also, my mom is a caretaker, so I was always surrounded by health workers. although I have no current experience the first time, I experienced shadowing was when I was very young. With my aunt being a pediatric dentist there would be times where I would be in the office with her/helping. I got to see how an actual dental office works and get a feel of the environment.
