Entrepreneurship

My Entrepreneurship course was ENMA 421 – Decision Techniques in Engineering.  This was a class that I had no intention of taking prior to the LeADERS program.  I am grateful that this course became a part of my degree plan.  The course provided me with an entire tool kit to make decisions based on data rather than “gut” feeling.  This includes assigning value to possible outcomes and making decisions based on value.

ENMA421 Final Paper Teagle

My final paper uses all of the techniques learned in the course.  These include pair-wise comparison, present value, and the use of desicion trees.

I feel this course provides the tools needed to effectively make desicions and solve problems in a data driven manner.  These skills and tools will be very beneficial in my future projects as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and project manager.
