Something that I learned in this class that helped me make a connection to my other coursework was the Gene Expression chapter. I learned a lot more information about DNA, transcription, and translation. I understand that this specific topic will follow me wherever I go now, and I’m glad to be able to comprehend it on a more cellular and molecular level. Cell biology also helped me in understanding the small little mechanics that occur within our bodily functions, such as glycolysis and the Krebs cycle. I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and its amazing properties, and this Cell biology class truly gave me insight into it.
